Freezer Burn Writing- Liminal

Liminal spaces are magic.

Neither active nor still, we recognize the passing of one storm and anticipate the next. Against the magenta sunset sits a home that is not yet home. Simple structures for now, but we see a tomorrow when they will be more.

Taken the evening before Freezer Burn and after a prairie squall, this photo is a held breath and a silent moment. It is the hope of those there, those not yet there, and those who will never be there again. It is the potential of the in-between, the transcendence of the unknown, and the certainty that it will be magic.
