Freezer Burn - Ranger Team still has over 60 shifts to fill for this year's event

Are you willing to volunteer your time to give back to the community?

To be a sanctioned regional Burning Man event, Freezer Burn is required to have trained Rangers on site.

Are you willing to volunteer your time to give back to the community?

Are you able to commit to training prior to the event?

If your answer is yes, please join us to help create a safe space for all participants. You'll also get a fancy name tag Perhaps you want to be a Ranger, but you have struggles with mobility and cannot walk the Fraya for long periods of time? We still also need many Oracle Assistant shifts filled at the first Response tent! There are also Ranger Oracle shifts available which are reserved for those with prior Ranger experience. In an effort to accommodate more volunteer opportunities, we have added two more In-Person training dates:

Calgary: Saturday, June 8, 1pm-5pm (address to be given in private)

And for those who are coming from out of town:

On the Fraya, Meeting at first response, Thursday, June 20 at 5pm

Please keep in mind that Online Black Rock training is also required. This generally takes 3 hours to complete (Less if you have Rangered before). This will need to be completed prior to the in-person training. If you would like to sign up for either training date (or discuss other options), please contact us at learangers@gmail.com and we will get you registered!

Thank you in advance!
